Mission Accomplished!
Militant Group Is Out of Baghdad, U.S. Says
By DAMIEN CAVE
Published: November 8, 2007
BAGHDAD, Nov. 7 — American forces have routed Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia, the Iraqi militant network, from every neighborhood of Baghdad, a top American general said today, allowing American troops involved in the “surge” to depart as planned.
Maj. Gen. Joseph F. Fil Jr., commander of United States forces in Baghdad, also said that American troops had yet to clear some 13 percent of the city, including Sadr City and several other areas controlled by Shiite militias. But, he said, “there’s just no question” that violence had declined since a spike in June.
“Murder victims are down 80 percent from where they were at the peak,” and attacks involving improvised bombs are down 70 percent, he said.
General Fil attributed the decline to improvements in the Iraqi security forces, a cease-fire ordered by the Shiite cleric Moktada al-Sadr, the disruption of financing for insurgents, and, most significant, Iraqis’ rejection of “the rule of the gun.”
Congrats to the US and the victorious men and women in the US military! Now that we've killed most of the terrorists in Iraq, let's move on to Iran, etc. and kill some more there! (In other words, treat them exactly as they would treat us. I'm all for equality here, people!)

Cleaning woman? Cleaning woman? CLEANING WOMAN?
Clinton: Bring Your Mops, Vacuum Cleaners and Brushes
November 05, 2007 12:48 AM
ABC News' Eloise Harper reports: Not only is Senator Clinton comfortable in the kitchen, she wants you to bring your mops, vacuum cleaners and brushes when she gets to the White House.
Clinton speaking in West Burlington, IA, told a story about how she is going to clean up the White House. Telling it, Clinton rested her hand on her head and said "oh my goodness I feel like we are going to get into the White House again and we are going to walk around and say where do we start to clean up this mess?" Clinton remembered an audience member who shouted once out when she told this story before - "that's what women are good at cleaning up the mess." Clinton said "bring your vacum cleaners bring your brushes bring your brooms bring your mops."
Mrs. Clinton, are you going to reinstall the "W's" back on White House computers? Are you going to pay for that lamp you broke? Are you going to throw out that pile of newspapers the Rose Law Firm billing records were under?

Tits on a Boar Hog
Strike set to silence talk shows
The Writers Guild of America has asked its 12,000 members to stop working and set up picket lines from Monday.
It wants more cash for work which goes on "new" media such as DVDs or online.
Shows hosted by stars such as Jay Leno, David Letterman and Jon Stewart are expected to stop almost immediately as they rely on a supply of topical jokes.
It was anticipated NBC would broadcast repeats of Leno's programme, The Tonight Show, plus Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Saturday Night Live from Monday if the walkout went ahead, the Hollywood Reporter said.
It also said old episodes of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report would be screened under contingency plans by the Comedy Central channel.
Two questions:
Why do talk shows have writers?
Why do talk shows need writers?
Just fuckin' talk, jagoffs!

Well, if it's Science, it must be true, Pt. II

Hillary backed lab of donor
By Jim McElhatton
October 30, 2007
James Watson retired from his New York lab after suggesting that Africans are not as intelligent as Westerners.
Lawmakers, including Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, have taken thousands in campaign cash from an embattled Nobel-prize winning scientist while earmarking federal money for his New York lab.
Mrs. Clinton and Sen. Charles E. Schumer, also a New York Democrat, requested a $900,000 earmark in June for the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, where James D. Watson served as chancellor before resigning last week after apologizing for comments that suggested that people descending from Africa aren't as intelligent as those from Europe.
Who's surprised at that? It's pretty much common knowledge that Hitlery Clinton is one of the most racist politicians in America. This just confirms what we already knew.

Crisis @ UTM?
Newspaper delivery halted after excessive budget woes
Jay Baker
Assistant News Editor
Students who became accustomed to getting The New York Times in classes last year are probably wondering where their copies are this year.
But the delivery of the newspaper has fallen victim to budget cuts, leaving students without the daily newspaper.
Last year, nearly 1,000 copies of the newspaper were delivered to UTM daily through a redership program sponsored by the American Democracy Project (ADP) and funded by the Division of Academic Affairs.
“It’s even more cloudy than it may seem. We’re still trying to pursue funding. It may even be here this fall,” said Mike McCullough, professor of management and UTM’s ADP chair.
At 35 cents a paper, plus $100 a week for delivery, Academic Affairs paid about $1,000 a semester for the NYT last year, McCullough said.
This year there is a greater demand for the NYT to be used in classes ranging from history, English, sociology to political science and even chemistry.
This is absolutely terrible!!! But somehow, I believe the University of Tennesse at Martin students (Go Skyhawks!) will be able to get their daily dose of liberal claptrap without the NY Times...

So Brangelina won't get married until everyone else can...
Brangelina to Marry When Everybody Can
Brad Pitt, ever the social activist, says he won't be marrying Angelina Jolie until the restrictions on who can marry whom are dropped.
"Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able," the 42-year-old actor reveals in Esquire magazine's October issue, on newsstands Sept. 19.
Brad? Gellina or whatever the fuck it is you call yourself? Does that mean you won't get married until a 30-year old guy can marry a 10 year old girl or are you taking about fags?

Fuck Jake Gayenhaal

Movie star JAKE GYLLENHAAL has shocked American Gulf War veterans by joking they did nothing but "masturbate" during their time in the desert in 1991. The cheeky 25-year-old stars in JARHEAD, a movie exposing the US soldiers' lack of combat in the Middle Eastern conflict. He said, "The US soldiers were sent to the desert for 122 days and they sat in the same tent and did nothing, except a little too much masturbating."
I wouldn't piss in his mouth if his stomach was on fire. What does this little sawed off bastard know about being a real man anyway? He needs to go back to nutrubbing with other dudes for pay...which is apparently what he does best...

Lawmakers Reject Immediate Iraq Withdrawal
Nov 19, 7:56 AM (ET)
By LIZ SIDOTI
WASHINGTON (AP) - The Republican-controlled House spurned calls for an immediate pullout of troops from Iraq in a vote hastily arranged by the GOP that Democrats vociferously denounced as politically motivated.
"To cut and run would invite terrorism into our backyards, and no one wants to see troops fighting terrorism on American soil," Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill., said Friday night after the House, as planned, rejected a GOP-written resolution for immediate withdrawal.
The vote, held as lawmakers rushed toward a two-week Thanksgiving break, was 403-3.
Well shit on a stick! I thought we were in a "quagmire!" Now I learn it really isn't all that bad in Iraq. At least not bad enough to bring the boys home.
Democrats, you fucked up. You had the perfect opportunity to go on record for bringing the troops home from the quagmire called Iraq, but you chose to leave them there, didn't you? Jag-offs...

THEY LIED TO GET US IN THIS WAR!!!
Oh yeah...I'm talking about the press.
"A quick search through the [New York} Times archives before 2001 produces such headlines as "Iraq Has Network of Outside Help on Arms, Experts Say"(November 1998), "U.S. Says Iraq Aided Production of Chemical Weapons in Sudan"(August 1998), "Iraq Suspected of Secret Germ War Effort" (February 2000), "Signs of Iraqi Arms Buildup Bedevil U.S. Administration" (February 2000), "Flight Tests Show Iraq Has Resumed a Missile Program" (July 2000). (A somewhat shorter list can be compiled from The [Washington] Post's archives, including a September 1998 headline: "Iraqi Work Toward A-Bomb Reported.") The Times stories were written by Barbara Crossette, Tim Weiner and Steven Lee Myers; Miller shared a byline on one.
Many such stories appeared before and after the Clinton administration bombed Iraq for four days in late 1998 in what it insisted was an effort to degrade Iraqi weapons programs..."
Fuckers. Fuck them. Do they actually believe people listen to them anymore?

Journalists' Hotel in Baghdad Attacked
By ROBERT H. REID
Associated Press Writer
BAGHDAD, Iraq
Three massive vehicle bombs exploded Monday near the Palestine Hotel, home to many Western journalists, killing at least 20 people. Dramatic TV pictures showed one of the bombers driving a cement truck through the concrete blast walls that guard the hotel, then blowing up his vehicle.
Iraq's national security adviser, Mouwafak al-Rubaie, said the attack _ which appeared well-planned _ was a "very clear" effort to take over the hotel and seize journalists as hostages.
NOW they've done it! Now they've attacked Western journalists! Who cares about the US military, they've messed with the sacred 4th Estate! These Saddam loyalists are killing reporters so they can't exercise their 1st Amendment right to freedom of the press...haven't they ever heard of that?
Sadly and at last, terrorists may actually get some bad publicity from the US media. After that we should see some good human interest stories about how heroic it is to type out tomorrow's headline, while under a deadline, while under a table.
How many more newspaper reporters have to die in this war before the US media decides to pull out?

Clinton teams with Nickelodeon to fight obesity....Why?

NEW YORK - Bill Clinton is teaming with SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer in a campaign to nudge kids to eat healthy foods and to get up off the couch and move, the former president and Nickelodeon television executives announced Thursday.
Now why in the world would he do that? I thought kids were starving to death in this country? Why would he want kids to eat less if they already can't get enough?

Christian Persecution Goes Both Ways
The Movie: Ronnie Earle, on a Mission from God
By Byron York
A new film featuring Travis County, Texas prosecutor Ronnie Earle as he pursued the investigation that led to the indictment of House Majority Leader Tom DeLay portrays Earle less as a partisan figure than as a messianic leader on a mission to rid American politics of the "evil" influence of money.
"The root of the evil of the corporate and large-monied interest domination of politics is money," Earle says as he takes the filmmakers on a nighttime drive around Austin. "This is in the Bible. This isn't rocket science. The root of all evil truly is money, especially in politics. People talk about how money is the mother's milk of politics. Well, it's the devil's brew. And what we've got to do, we've got to turn off the tap."
Just wondering...if he's interpreting the Bible the way he wants, (the actual quote is "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil" (1 Timothy 6:10) does that make you wonder if he's interpreting law the way he wants?
And what happend to the seperation of church and state? Come on, leftists! You're losing a big opportunity here! This is obviously one of those southern Bible thumpers you used to warn us about that's using political office to advance his personal religious beliefs. Or is that cool now?

Jimmy Carter: Elder Statesman, Child Pornographer

Carter shared two experiences that he said have been most memorable from througout all his travels and volunteer work.
He said he will never forget the image of a young woman holding her right breast, so swollen with the attempted exit of a guinea worm that it “looked like she was holding a baby in her arms.”
The second image Carter recalled was of a young Ethiopian girl’s eagerness to demonstrate that she, like her brother, could use the small latrine their father had made for them.
“She spread her skirt out very carefully and she squatted down to relieve herself.” Carter said.
Carter added jokingly, “We took some pictures of it.”

Cindy al Sheehan Roughed Up By Hitlery's Goons
Cindy Sheehan may be the Rosa Parks of the anti-war movement. But that didn't stop members of the New York Police Department from marching into the crowd of about 150 people gathered in Union Square Monday to hear her speak and yanking away the microphone.
Let me get this right...the poster girl of the American Left visits the Liberal Mecca of the United States on a beautiful, sunny "chamber of commerce" day and can only draw a crowd of 150?
They will continue to lose elections for many years to come.

What's Up WIth The Death Numbers In New Orleans?
Is it more incompetence? Perhaps not just from Mayor Nagin, but the press?
In the early days of his crisis, Mayor Nagin projected 10,000 dead.
Then someone in New Orleans ordered 25,000 body bags (where they got that number, who knows...it's 2.5 times larger than the mayor's figures.)
But as of today, the official death toll is only 150 dead.
What about Mayor Nagin? Is he a liar, or did he just have some "bad intel?
And if the press is wrong about those things, I wonder what else they could be wrong about?
