Can you believe this crap? She never thanks the taxpayers for giving her $152 in food stamps each month. Our tax dollars are going to people who won't piss in our mouths if our stomachs were on fire, but they gladly take our money, don't they?
On top of that...do you see the pic associated with that story? Her ass looks like 50 lbs. of chewed bubble gum! It seems that she's making it pretty good on only $152 a month.

you make several assumptions in your post without any basis for them.
1) you assume the picture the woman has posted is a picture of herself. you don't know that. for all you know it is simply a photo she likes, or a photo she took in a photography class, or a political statement about the idea that women don't have to be thin to be beautiful.
2) you assume the picture posted shows how she looks today. perhaps that is a picture of her at some previous time in her life.
3) in your post at tennessee guerilla women you comment that the woman has the money to pay for internet access. you don't know that to be true. perhaps her building has wi fi access. perhaps she is using a relative's computer. you are making an assumption and a judgment about how she chooses to use her money without any basis besides your own imagination.
4) also at tennesse guerilla women you comment that she the fact that she has internet access and time to blog shows "she isn't hurting." again, you have no basis for that. if you had read the post closely, you would have seen that the woman needs an oxygen tank at all times and cannot stand for more than a couple of minutes. you don't know whether the woman is dying of cancer, has a serious heart problem, or suffers from multiple sclerosis.
5)you assume that she is someone "who would not piss in your mouth if your stomach was on fire." you have no basis for assuming that. perhaps she is a very kind and loving person who would gladly piss in your mouth if your stomach was on fire.
1) Sure, I’m assuming that. The reason I assume it is because in a post by her at ourword.org, she claims it is her. Hippie-crit, don't make claims against me that you assume either!
2) Since you can assume, I’ll also do the same. I assume she’s proud of her fat ass since she lists “fat acceptance” or whatever the fuck that is in her interests.
3) I see your point on this issue. Since she’s getting food stamps, she is also probably sponging regarding internet access.
4) Like I said…if she’s got all that time to blog, she’s doing OK. Also, since one of her “interests” listed on her blog is “smoking weed,” I wonder if she buys her own or is a moocher? Either way, if she can include bong hits in her lifestyle, she must be doing OK. And if she's on oxygen constantly, how exactly does she smoke weed?

1) i find no reference to that picture being her. show me a link to where she said the picture is her, and i'll apologize. but even if the picture is of her, how do you know it represents how she looks today?
2)are you against "fat acceptance"? is it your position that all fat people should be ridiculed? or just fat people on food stamps?
3) what is this "probably sponging"? are people "sponging" every time they receive a gift from another person?
4) many people smoke weed for health reasons. cancer patients for instance. because it eases the nausea of chemotherapy and pain. yes, some of them even smoke while on oxygen. why are you so quick to assume that she either pays for it or "moooches" it. maybe she grows it.
5)why do you assume that, since she didn't say "thank you" in that particular writing, that she's not grateful?
6) you seem to have a very strong contempt for people who get government assistance in general. a) do you believe that people who receive government assistance are morally deficient in some way? b) do you believe a society has any obligation to provide for those who are too young, too old or too ill to provide for themselves?
i am not trying to be a troll here. i am honestly reaching out to try to understand where you are coming from. i don't understand your contempt or your anger. so i guess my last question is, are you interested in having a sincere dialog about these things? because if you aren't, i will happily spend my time somewhere else.
Sure, I believe people have a moral obligation to help the poor. But it shouldn't be forced upon us by government. I believe it is the moral thing to do. However, I thought government wasn't supposed to legislate morality...
